Terms of Use

Last updated: August 17, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using advMCP.ai, you agree to these Terms of Use. The site is operated by WealthMCP.ai LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("advMCP", "we", or "us"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the site, the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, or any data obtained from either.

2. What the service provides

advMCP.ai makes SEC Form ADV data available through a public website and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Data is sourced from the SEC Investment Adviser Public Disclosure (IAPD) compilation feed. We reproduce only what advisers themselves filed; we do not verify, modify, guarantee, or endorse the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the underlying filings.

3. No affiliation with the SEC, FINRA, or any adviser

advMCP.ai is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, FINRA, IAPD, or any investment adviser listed on the site. Firm names, CRD numbers, and other identifying information appear solely to identify publicly filed records.

4. Not investment advice; no professional relationship

Nothing on this site is investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice, a recommendation, an endorsement of any adviser, or a solicitation of any transaction. Using the site or the MCP server does not create an advisory, fiduciary, client, or professional relationship between you and advMCP, any listed adviser, or any third party.

5. Data accuracy, timeliness, and corrections

Data shown on advMCP.ai reflects only what a firm self-reported to the SEC as of its most recent filing. It may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors that originated in the filing itself or in our ingestion, processing, or display of the filing. The SEC's IAPD system at adviserinfo.sec.gov is the authoritative source and controls over anything shown here.

You must verify any information directly with IAPD or the adviser before relying on it for any purpose. If you believe information displayed about you or a firm you represent is inaccurate, contact us at info@wealthmcp.ai to request a review and correction. We will investigate in good faith and correct or remove confirmed errors within a reasonable time.

6. Automated access and AI agents

Access via the MCP server or any automated client is subject to these Terms. If you operate, deploy, or direct an AI agent or other automated system that queries this service, you are bound by these Terms and are solely responsible for every request your agent makes and for how any data returned to your agent is used. Reasonable rate limits apply and may be adjusted without notice.

7. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the site to harass, stalk, or harm any individual or firm.
  • Use the data to build or contribute to a database used for unlawful discrimination, harassment, or unsolicited-contact campaigns targeting the listed firms or individuals.
  • Present the data in a way that implies SEC endorsement or that advMCP.ai verified the information.
  • Remove or alter attribution to advMCP.ai or the SEC IAPD source.
  • Attempt to overload, abuse, or interfere with the service.
  • Use automated tools in a way that violates our rate limits.

You must respect the SEC's terms of use and attribution requirements whenever you reuse or redistribute public data obtained through this service.

8. Do not submit confidential or personal information

The site and MCP server are public and read-only. Do not transmit client nonpublic personal information, personally identifiable information, or any confidential or regulated data to this service or through the MCP endpoint. You are solely responsible if you do.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL DATA ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any data is accurate, complete, current, or reliable. You use the service and any data entirely at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, advMCP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost business opportunity, or loss of goodwill arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). These limits apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless advMCP and its members, officers, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your use or redistribution of data obtained here.

12. Changes to the service and these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.

14. General

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and the unenforceable provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and advMCP regarding the service.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. This assignment right matters because we intend to assign these Terms to the LLC once formed.

Survival. Sections 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination of these Terms.

15. Contact

For questions about these Terms, to report a violation, or to request a data correction under Section 5, contact us at info@wealthmcp.ai (advMCP.ai is operated by WealthMCP.ai LLC, so correspondence goes to the operator's address).
